The University Property Office supports all university-related real estate transactions, including leases, purchases, licenses, and sales. It serves as the primary contact for external parties involved in leases, easements, and other real property matters.
The Property Office also assists University Operations and Academic Affairs with campus space management and administers the Real Property, Space Planning, and Space Advisory Committees.

Leases & Licenses
A lease provides exclusive, long-term use of real property and can take up to 12 months for state approval. Contact the Property Office as soon as a lease is being considered.
Not sure if you need a lease or use agreement or license?
New Office?
Office swaps within a department do not require approval. However, departments should notify the Property Office to keep campus floor plans, 911 addresses, building systems, and space use data accurate.
Need Space or an Office?
The Property Office is the initial reviewer for all space requests, purchases, leases, licenses, and relocations. Renovations will not be approved unless first reviewed by PDC. The form should be submitted for any space need, even for a single office, minor adjustment, or temporary solution.
Event space is not managed by the property office.
